01
Phone Diagnosis
You describe the symptom: standing water, no drain, grinding, or a leak under the door. We ask the brand, model and age, then give you a realistic price band over the phone. Most calls take five minutes and you get a same-day or next-day window.
02
On-Site Testing
The tech pulls the machine, kills the water and power, and tests the drain pump and circulation pump with a multimeter. We check the filter screen for scale, inspect the door gasket, and confirm the control board is sending voltage. This takes 20-30 minutes and tells us exactly what failed.
03
Upfront Quote
You get one number: parts plus labor. No hourly creep, no surprise fees. If the repair is not worth it on an old machine, we say so and quote a replacement instead. You decide before we touch a screw.
04
Pump Replacement
We drain the tub with a wet vacuum, pull the failed pump, clean the housing, and install the new unit with a fresh gasket. A drain pump swap runs 45-90 minutes; a circulation pump on a Bosch or KitchenAid can take two hours because the sump has to come apart.
05
Test and Cleanup
We run a full cycle with the machine empty, then a second cycle with a load of dishes. You watch it drain. We wipe down the cabinet, check for leaks at the door latch assembly and hose clamps, and leave the kitchen the way we found it.
